Let the Random Acts of Kindness/Gift giving begin...

Posted by Dana at Monday, October 24, 2011 0 comments
I started my Project this past Saturday...
So far these are the small things that I have done...

Saturday
I left some quarters in our laundry room, so that someone got a load of laundry on me.

Sunday
I went through our clothes and donated anything we haven't worn or that didn't fit.

Today has been a super busy day, I'm not sure what I'm going to do for today...but I will update you when I do it.

Do any of you have any suggestions for things that I can do on this adventure????

           With much love,

Don't let your mind...stop you from having a good time.

Posted by Dana at Saturday, October 22, 2011 0 comments
I heard this today and it resonated inside of me. I do this ALOT. My mind is like a little popcorn machine. Popping ideas and thoughts and what not all day. I sometimes feel like I'm stuck on a sit and spin...while enjoyable at times....there are other times when I just want to get the hell off. lol.
Because my mind is constantly spinning I don't take the time to enjoy things as much as I should. I also let my mind talk me into feeling self conscious and there for I also fail in that respect. I think I need to make a vow to myself to just let go sometimes....not think so much ...and enjoy all that I have in this beautiful life.
Maybe you could make a vow to do the same.....
I double dog gone dare ya!  : P

Time to Celebrate!!!

Posted by Dana at Saturday, October 15, 2011 0 comments

My birthday is coming up....November 25th to be exact. I am going to be 35. I feel good about this birthday.
Something about the number 35 is exciting to me...
I've decided that I'm going to celebrate my birthday by doing 35 acts of random kindness. One per day until my birthday. I will be starting on October 22. I will post each one on here to keep you updated.
If you want to know more about Random Acts of Kindness there are several websites devoted to doing such.
This is one of my favorite ones....   http://www.secretagentl.com/

I won't give up - Jason Mraz

Posted by Dana at Tuesday, October 11, 2011 0 comments

It's nice to know that these feelings still exist in the world.
Jason Mraz is nothing less than amazing. He touches my soul with the words he spins and weaves through the beautiful sound of the music he plays. I can feel the music within myself when I listen to it...it feels like the world is one.

Be brave. Take risks. Nothing can substitute experience. – Paulo Coelho

What does patience feel like? It’s a subtle unfolding with time as your ally. You feel relaxed and trust that it will all work out, even if in this very moment, there’s no clear path to the end. It feels like the subtle uneasiness of allowing all you’re uncomfortable with to be exactly as it is.” - Jackson Kiddard, author & polymath.

It’s Time To Let Go!

by MASTIN KIPP on OCTOBER 8, 2011

It’s okay to let go.
True Love is letting go. Freedom and free will are the by-products of Love.
So many of us lead our lives holding on so tightly that nothing new, nothing miraculous can find us.
We have been taught for a very long time that holding on is what makes us strong, is what Love is made of and is the best answer.
But we are stepping into a new paradigm. We are stepping into a time where growth and Love lead the way. This means we are constantly changing, evolving, dying and being reborn.
What must come first is our own spiritual growth. This means listening to our intuition, trusting our gut and expressing ourselves authentically without hiding.
Holding on to a broken relationship stunts our growth. You don’t get points from The Uni-verse for how much you suffer. The Uni-verse wants to deliver to you all that your heart desires.
Our relationships have been sent to teach us, to mold us and to shape us. When we seek Love, The Uni-verse sends us all kinds of relationships that bring to the surface all the blocks we have to Love.
We must learn to identify when the lesson is over. Relationships are containers for growth, not opportunities to suffer so we can prove how much we “love” someone. And a relationship isn’t full if both people aren’t in self-love and then sharing their love with each other from a place of overflow.
Some people are sent to us for quick lessons, some are sent to us for seasonal lessons and some are sent to us for a lesson we are to be taught over a lifetime.
Let us not try to learn and purify ourselves outside of Love, but instead invoke Love in our lives and recognize that the Love of The Uni-verse IS the purifier and the teacher. The face of Love may change, but the energy of Love of The Uni-verse never changes.
Let us no longer try to prove our Love by how much we can hold on to toxic situations and people, but rather by how much we are willing to let go once the lesson has been learned. There is no rulebook for this principle. This is something we must each learn individually and grow into.
The Uni-verse is setup so that we have free will to choose to connect to Love, or not. We must give ourselves this freedom as well as all the people in our lives.
For Love does not seek to control, but rather gives freedom.
If you gave yourself or those in your life this freedom, what would that look like? Let me know:WhatImGoingThru@TheDailyLove.com
